1. Hunza Valley

Hunza Valley which is located somewhere in Gilgit Baltistan. Its is also known as part of “Heaven or Heaven on earth” which is surrounded by peak snow covered mountains, ancient forts, beautiful villages, heart inspiring landscapes.

How to reach Hunza Valley

  • By Air: It’s take almost 1hr to reach Gilgit Baltistan from Islamabad.
  • By Road: Karakoram Highway from Islamabad it takes 18hrs but worth it with scenic view.

What we should eat in Hunza

  • Hunza Pie: It’s sweet and savory pie made with wheat flour, apricots and with few dry fruits.
  • Chap shoro: It’s savory dish serve with meat and paratha( tortilla ).
  • Gyal: It’s very thin and stretchy white bread mostly people eat it with chat( Tea ).
  • Kak Moch: It’s a sweet and savory soup which often served in Winter.

Attabad Lake

A Lake which got formed after a big landslide happened in 2010, its famous for water sports and other activities.

Passu Cones

Iconic peaks point of the region has become favorite on social media. These magical cones are worth it viewing from Passu bridge.

Baltit and Altit Forts

These ancient forts are over 700 years old. Restored forts with the help Aga Khan Trust that represent Hunza rich heritage.

Spring (April–May): Hunza turns into a wonderland of cherry and blossoms.

Autumn (October–November): The valley glows in shades of red, orange, and gold.

Summer (June–August): Ideal for trekking, boating and exploring villages

2. Skardu Valley

Skardu is a home of world longest mountains such as K2 and other Broad Peak. This place is real paradise for mountaineers, nature lovers and trekkers who love to track on mountains.

How to reach Skardu

  • By Air: Flight from Islamabad to Skardu via PIA and other airlines, land on Skardu Airport and the view is jaw dropping from plane.
  • By Road: Beautiful and bit tough drive from Islamabad to Skardu which takes almost 20hrs to reach.

what we should eat in Skardu

  • Gyal: Gyal is thin and stretchy white bread mostly people eat it with chat( Tea ).
  • Kak Moch: It’s a sweet and savory soup which often served in Winter
  • Butter Tea: Its pink salted tea often got served in winters by people live there.

Shigar Fort

Shigar fort is almost around 400 years old which got restored and turned into luxury hotel by Aga Khan Trust. This fort is proof of Balti Royal and their culture.

Katpana Desert

Katpana desert is Situated 7500ft above from sea level. This desert is called cold desert. Highest desert in the world.

Sadpara Lake

Sadpara is very beautiful blue lake surrounded by beautiful mountains. This lake is main water supply for Skardu town.

3. Swat Valley

Swat is situated somewhere northern Khyber Phaktunkhwa in Malakand divison. This valley is breathtaking destination snow peak, meadows and rivers. Rich in natural beauty and ancient history. It also known as east Switzerland or Switzerland of Pakistan.

How to reach Swat Valley

By Air: Many Flites take off from Islamabad to Swat on daily base.

By Road: From Islamabad, Swat is on almost 6hrs drive with scenic view, I’ll recommend by road.

What we should eat in Swat Valley

Kabab: It’s very famous spicy minced meat Kabab.

Trout Fish: It is fresh fish from Swat Lake.

Roghani Naan: This dish is famous between locals. You should try it.

Attraction Points

Kalam Valley

It’s is lush green valley 100km far from Mingora. Kalam peaks covered with snow capped and pine forests and Kalam is also gateway to other spots such like Kundol Lake, Ushu Forest and Mahodand Lake.

Mahodand Lake

This lake is most clickable lake in Pakistan. It is accessible on 4×4 from Kalam Valley. Boating, fishing and camping is also available there.

Kundol Lake

Kundol lake is beautiful glacial lake reached via trek 2 to 3hrs, this lake is also famous for it blue water and stunning peaks.
